Everything You Need To Know About Your Post-Lockdown Visit
UPDATED APRIL 2021
Whilst we are excited to get back to doing what we love, we have made some changes to the way we operate with your health and safety as a top priority. You will notice that as a result of this, your salon experience will be different from previous visits.
Before you step back into our salon doors, please familiarise yourself with the new experience you will receive at Collections Hair Club, as outlined below.
Before Your Visit
TESTING: Our team will undergo regular testing to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients & team members.
By Appointment Only
Entrance to the salon will strictly be by appointment only. If you do not have an appointment scheduled, but would like to purchase any products, please ring ahead where payment will be taken over the phone and your products will be made available for collection outside the salon.
Pre-Visit Form
All clients will be sent a health check form via e-mail 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
It is important that this is completed before your appointment.
No Guests
Please come to your appointment alone.
(If you have a disability, you may be accompanied by your carer.)
When You Arrive
Arrive On Time
Please arrive on time to your appointment and be aware that you will be asked to wait outside, as our waiting area will be closed. If you are running late to your appointment please call ahead so we can try our best to accommodate you, but please be aware that we may have to reschedule your booking and you could be charged for your appointment.
A member of the team will come to collect you when we are ready for you. We will greet you warmly, but without a hug or handshake.
Entering The Salon
Your temperature will be taken on entry and you will be asked to sanitise your hands.
Your Belongings
You will be asked to handle your own coat / bag and place it in a protective sleeve in our designated cloak area.
Where possible we kindly ask that you bring as few items as possible to your appointment.
For Your Safety
For added safety screens have been fitted throughout the salon, including in between styling stations, the backwash area and reception.
Our air conditioning system has been flushed with anti-bacterial agent and filters have been cleaned.
During Your Appointment
Refreshments & Magazines
You will be offered limited beverages whilst in salon and all ‘common touch’ items such as magazines have been removed.
You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and reading material.
PPE & Masks
Our team will be wearing appropriate PPE during your appointment and will wash and sanitise their hands before and after each client. This might seem strange, but it is to protect both our clients and our team.
All clients will also be required to wear a mask, which will be provided.
Consultations
Consultations will be carried out via the mirror to minimise face to face interaction.
Sanitisers are placed around the salon next to all touch points. All workstations and tools will be sanitised between each client.
Towels & Gowns
Single-use gowns will be used on all clients. Any non single-use fabrics such as towels will be washed at a minimum of 60 degrees celsius after every use.
Important Changes
Service Limitations
We will not be able to book any dry cuts or in-between appointment fringe trims at this time.
When booking children's appointments, please bear in mind that we no longer have a waiting area.
Extended Opening Times
You will see these have been extended. The idea behind this is so we can see as many of our clients as we can, knowing that we will have a lot less clients in the salon at any one time
Card Payments Preferred
Please pay with a card (preferably contactless) where possible instead of cash.
If you wish to tip your stylist by card, this can be done using the thankU app on your smartphone which you can download here. Alternatively, you may bring cash along to your appointment and use our non-contact box, located on the reception desk.
Patch Test
If it has been more than 6 months since your last colour in the salon or if there have been any recent changes to your medical history, you will be required to undergo a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Click HERE to read more.
Getting you back to yourself
Please be aware that you may be charged more than your usual appointment cost on your first visit after lockdown.
This is due to any additional colour/time that may be required for your appointment.
Offers & Discounts
All discounts/promotions will be on hold until further notice (with the exception of our NHS discount, which will remain).
Covid Symptoms
Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19.
We Want To Hear From You!
If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment then please let us know! Our front of house team are available every day.
